Water Rocket Activity at SPHRC Kung Yik She Secondary School

Before the summer holiday, P4 and P5 students of our school participated in the water rocket activity, invited by SPHRC Kung Yik She Secondary School.

Before the start of the activity, the teacher first explained the principles and safety rules of water rockets to the students and stimulated their interest with a lively and interesting demonstration.

Afterwards, each group of students took turns to launch their self-made water rockets on the playground. With a countdown, the water rockets shot out and flew into the blue sky. There were cheers and applause from time to time, and the atmosphere was very enthusiastic. Some of the rockets travelled farther than expected, much to the surprise of the students.

This activity not only enabled students to learn STEAM knowledge in practice, but also enjoyed the fun of scientific exploration through teamwork and hands-on experience.
