‘Think Outside the Box!’ Positive 

Parent-Child Relationship Activity 

Our school has joined forces with the Shepherds Life Empowerment Centre to organise the ‘Think Outside the Box!’ Positive Parent-Child Relationship Activity, giving busy parents and children the chance to put aside their homework and mobile phones and simply focus on having fun together!

Parents and children used building blocks to piece together their ‘dream home’, brick by brick. Some built a huge garden, while others designed a double-decker slide… Every creation was filled with love and warmth.

The children wrote down their favourite things about family life on cards: ‘I love it when Mummy hugs me!’ “I love it when Dad tells stories!” Everyone wrote down their blessings for one another and for the future, and the hall was filled with laughter, warmth and applause.
