Putonghua Day — Endless Melodies, Joy Fills the Campus

On Putonghua Day, the school grounds were transformed into a Putonghua paradise!

Each form began with a ‘One-Minute Performance Competition’, where students pulled out all the stops to win thunderous applause from the audience!

P4 to 6 students took part in a quiz competition, engaging in a game of wits and skill in Putonghua on the topic of healthy living!

After break time, the cultural workshops officially began! P1 pupils made scented sachets, P2 students practised paper quilling, P3 students moulded flour figurines, P4 students doing paper-cutting, P5 students practised rainbow calligraphy, and P6 students wove bamboo lantern boats—integrating traditional crafts with Putonghua learning made for a thoroughly enjoyable experience!

In addition, Putonghua experts taught Pinyin and phonetic memorisation techniques to pupils in P1 to P3, from which the pupils benefited greatly!
